KP4 IMSA Software

We are pleased to have developed a simple software tool for managing the IMSA process and packaged it as an easy to use CD called KP4IMSA.

This Microsoft Word software tool incorporates the IMSA Handbook as an underlying help tool and presents the 24 questions and indicators in an easy-to-follow format that permits companies to check off boxes and write single sentence answers to satisfy many indicators. The copyrighted program also provides space for documentation to be scanned in and positioned in chronological order so that timely updates are easily accomplished. Another option that some companies are using is that of simply creating a hyperlink in KP4IMSA that takes the reviewer directly to the evidence on the company website via the Internet. Your entire assessment and documentation can be stored on a single CD.

Because of its easy use, simplicity and strict adherence to the IMSA Handbook, the software tool can be used with any assessment approach or methodology. It satisfies the need for the kind of documentation that work papers can provide yet leaves the possession of all evidence in the hands of the company, not the independent assessor. More importantly, it can provide a structured framework and format that makes the IMSA requirement for an "ongoing system of review" very manageable.
